Nephew loves this! I got this whale to go along with other gifts for my sister-in-law’s baby shower. She and my brother loved it more than any of my other gifts. My nephew is 10 months old and has used it every night in his crib to help him go to sleep since he was born. The sounds (and subtle light) are so calming and peaceful I almost want one for myself.:)——–UPDATE- my nephew is now almost 2 years old and STILL sleeps every night with the whale! I’ve also bought several as shower gifts since my first purchase. I have yet to purchase one for myself, maybe next year….ââ-Update- nephew still loves this at almost four. A replacement was ordered after the first one got soiled pretty badly. I ordered a turtle version for my nephewâs little brother (and pricey with limited availability.) another hit. Will continue to be a go to for baby showers as long as they make them.
Love all the whales! I have a whale obsession. Seriously, everything for my baby is whale this or that. I have been eyeing this for some time. I finally purchased it (but I did return it–my personal preference, not the product) and when it arrived it was so soft! I love the ocean noises it plays and the lights are pretty. Unfortunately at night the lights are VERY bright in a dark room. Good for a night light, bad for a sleeping baby. Also, it only plays for 5 minutes. We ended up returning it and bought the VTECH Hippo instead. It is voice activated, has a timer for 15, 30 or 45 minutes and projects stars on the ceiling that aren’t very bright.
