Buyer beware of strong chemical odor I wouldn’t recommend this kids storage unit. When we got it we noticed a very strong odor similar to mineral spirits coming from the storage bins. My guess is that the dye the manufacturer uses is oil based and not a more child safe water based dye. We also noticed that the bins are cardboard lined and are not too durable. We ended up immediately returning the unit and buying a slightly larger and more durable model costing only $10 more with the plastic bins instead.

Itâs OK I like the fact that this is toddler sized, if they do manage to tip this over, they will *probably* not get hurt. However it scoots easily across our wood floor. The baskets included are not very sturdy, I donât imagine them holding up to any length of time between my 1.5 & 5yo boys.
