For age 15 and up. The age rating should probably be updated. I bought this for my 8 year old. She initially attempted to build it with the help of a 14 year old friend. It proved too difficult for them both. My husband and I took turns working on it and found it very challenging as the parts donât all fit and needed some modification (holes too small etc…) nothing a pair of needle nose pliers couldnât handle. DOESN’T WORK. AT ALL I ordered this for my 12-year old son, and I’m HUGELY disappointed. It was a waste of my money and his time. It simply doesn’t work. He has checked it 5 times, left it in broad daylight for several hours, only to not have it move even an inch. We’ve tried everything, and nothing works, whether it be switching wires or rebuilding. The parts are VERY flimsy, and are hard to remove. It took my son 30 minutes just to figure out what the picture was telling him in the instruction manual. No words or…
Garbage….. The engine/motor was too weak to make the robot function in any reasonable way. I fly drones and the brushed motor was the smallest brushed motor I have ever seen. My son was looking forward to this and to completely let him down was a very frustrating experience. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in this product to avoid it. It will certainly let you down in short order.
