The number of blocks is misleading These are great toys, my son loves them. So when I bought the “120” piece set I was expecting 120 blocks. Instead we got less than half of the expected magnet blocks. The company counted all the letter/number inserts as “blocks” as well as the wheels so there really weren’t that many actual magnet blocks when all was said and done. They stick together nicely and have endless possibilities for play but I was very disappointed that my “120 piece” set really had a fraction of that.

Buyer beware You get a nice amount for the money, BUT… Be advised, if you’re giving this as a gift, that it looks like a knock-off product. The box it comes in says “MAGANETIC” (not “MAGNETIC”). Also, the magnets are not as strong as the more familiar name-brand ones. With the name-brand ones, I can stack a bunch together on a metal surface (like a refrigerator door) and they stay put. With these, I can stack just a few before they start slipping off.

Make sure you do your research before buying The magnetic tiles themselves are very strong but as other have mentioned, do not be mislead. There are not 120 tiles. There are only 78 magnetic tiles and 42 useless letters and numbers. This really makes me mad and feels like false advertising. Why would a magnetic tile purchase have non magnetic pieces?!? There is also no instruction book for how to make, for example, the Ferris wheel. Ugh. Make sure you do your real search before buying.
