Excellent Content Ecosystem, Average Hardware Length:: 2:50 Mins The new LeapPad Ultimate has exactly the same hardware specs as their previous LeapPad Platinum tablet. So if you already have the the LeapPad Platinum or Epic then this would not be a worthy upgrade. In terms of deciding between the Ultimate or Platinum, the Ultimate would make the better value for money option with more digital content preloaded and exactly the same hardware specs as the Platinum( The only additional feature of the Platinum is its included Imagicards which add nice physical card to digital interaction type games). For first time buyers the LeapFrog Ultimate is a great first kids tablet to introduce to kids if you dont want to deal with the fuss of carefully handpicking and curating content and determine what is appropriate for your kids age groupHARDWAREThis is an area that I am going be most critical of this tablet, mainly because we are sort of spoiled after years of using the latest Samsung phones,…

Not terrible. Not great. This tablet has it’s Pro’s and Con’s for sure:Pro’s:-It’s durable and 3-year-old tough. It’s been dropped and thrown and not even a scratch!Con’s:- There’s limited storage. I made the mistake of buying cartridge games at first because another reviewer mentioned that there was limited storage, but my 3-year-old lost the games within the first week. Downloading is really my only option. So I purchase games/videos and have to uninstall others to make room for new ones. Then if he wants to play an old game, I have to uninstall another game and reinstall the older game. It’s very time consuming.- You can’t set the brightness or volume. You can turn them up/down, but once the system goes off, it starts again loud and bright.-When you plug the system in the charge, the whole system turns on. This is dumb and serves no purpose. What if I want to charge the system without drawing attention to it? So annoying!!!!
