Great introduction to coding for children The Matatalab Robot is very user friendly for children to even use! Suitable for kids ages 4 and older! The keys have arrow images that represent left and right turn, and moving forward in case children have not yet learned their letters or how to read words. It comes with obstacle walls, a board, keys, as well as a tower to send directions to the robot. The robot was very adorable and the colors were very engaging. The best screen-free coding toy for early childhood! I teach computational thinking to 4 and 5-year olds and I own 9 unplugged/screen-free coding robots. Matatalab is the overall winner! 1) It is the most comprehensive. It covers the concepts of sequencing, parameters, loops and functions. 2) It is virtually indestructible.
