Very Educational Toy Length:: 4:51 Mins Highlights of my Video Review:1. Great Touch Activity Desk for learning all sorts of things. Interactive. Educational2. Very easy to put together. Push the 4 legs into the stool seat. Push the 4 legs into the Red Base of the Table. Push the Top Yellow part onto the Red Base.3. Insert 4 AA batteries – not included.4. A few things to note: the child needs to learn not to lean on/touch the table other than when they are intentionally touching/interacting with it. This is the hardest thing for my daughter to learn. I tell her not to lean on it, but she very quickly forgets. The table is very sensitive – you don’t push the buttons, you just touch it – so it goes all haywire when she’s leaning on it. It might be nice if they gave a little border at the front so kids can lean on it/put their hands somewhere – and have the buttons further up. Otherwise, they just need to learn to keep their hands off…
Caution I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She loves it. I like it. However there needs to be some type of safety feature that locks the table when lifted up to draw. It’s already smashed her fingers. Blood and all. So if you buy this watch the fingers when they pull the table back down to play. It hurts. I’ve done it myself
***UPDATED REVIEW*** ***edited review***We got this for our daughter for christmas. Less than a month later, after only being played with a few times, it would only work properly in the music mode. Otherwise, it was like it has a short in the touch pad. It changed what it was saying before it finished, like someone was pushing a bunch of buttons, even though nobody was touching it. “V is for—D is—X is—G is for” etc. It just kept going and going and going. It wouldn’t stop no matter what mode it was in other than music mode. We tried switching sheets, cleaned the buttons with a damp rag thinking maybe they were sticky…nothing helped. It even turned itself on when nobody is in the room and did this until someone goes and shuts it off.After getting in touch with fetch customer service, which was a bit frustrating, we have fixed the problem. I tried multiple times for 2 days to send emails and always got an error, so I ended up having to call the customer service…
